Oxo Tower Wharf is an award-winning, landmark building situated on the Riverside Walkway on London’s South Bank. Since the building was refurbished in 1996, Oxo Tower Wharf has gained a reputation as a key centre for contemporary designers and applied artists.
Oxo Tower Wharf is home to some of the UK’s most innovative and internationally renowned contemporary designers working in a wide range of disciplines from fashion, textiles and jewellery to glass, ceramics and interior design.
Designers based at Oxo Tower Wharf include product designers Black+Blum, J-ME and home accessory designer Bodo Sperlein. In addition to the designer-maker units, Oxo is also home to the rooftop OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie and exhibition venues gallery@oxo and Bargehouse.
Located minutes from London Eye, Tate Modern, National Theatre and other major tourist destinations, Oxo Tower Wharf is situated on a busy pedestrian thoroughfare attracting domestic and overseas visitors. Local businesses include ITV, IBM and the new developments Sea Containers House and South Bank Tower with new restaurants, cafes, office and residential spaces.

We are searching for innovative, independent designer-makers to the join the Oxo Tower Wharf retail community. We are accepting applications from retailers operating across a range of design disciplines (from fashion and craft to product design and technology).
These units are subsidised to give designer-makers a platform to launch a sustainable business. This has been the guiding principle since the buildings refurbishment by Coin Street Community Builders in 1996 and has enabled many small creative start-ups to refine their offering and ultimately thrive, some are now household names.
Unit 2.01 is a second floor courtyard facing studio unit that benefits from abundant natural light and views over Bernie Spain Gardens.

Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB) is a social enterprise which has redeveloped London’s South Bank. CSCB has reconstructed the surrounding 13 acres into co-operative homes, shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars; a park and riverside walkway; sports facilities; by organising festivals and events; and by providing childcare, family support, learning, and enterprise support programmes. Income is generated from a variety of sources including the hire of retail and catering spaces, event spaces, meeting room spaces and conference venue spaces as well as the provision of consultancy services.Return
