Land of Luck

Land of Luck

Head to the Land of Luck to celebrate Chinese New Year and welcome in the Year of the Pig. Enjoy a glimpse of the magical land of China, through a range of experiences that will help you up your luck and potentially land all your hopes and dreams for 2019.

A trip to the Land of Luck will transport you to some of China’s hidden gems, such as the abandoned village of Houtouwan, where The Tea Whisperer will be in residence. You will be able to stroll over the bridges of the achingly romantic Zhouzhuang (the Venice of the East) where a Wishing Tree will be in full bloom, waiting for you to bestow your 2019 wishes on its branches.

All those that enter the Land of Luck will end their journey at The Lucky Banquet Hall, where you will be shown how to craft a Chinese ‘lucky’ knot, enjoy a menu of lucky food and drink under a canopy of traditional Chinese red lanterns while enjoying a front row performance of the auspicious Dragon and Lion dance.

Air China gifts could be won at the red wall, if you collect all the lucky symbols, hidden throughout the Land of Luck.

The sessions start every 30 minutes from 11.30am – 7.45pm, with each session lasting an hour allowing you to roam freely around the different elements of the experience.

Tickets are £10 and include a six-dish meal and a drink of choice.
