The Here and Now art exhibition showcases expressions of the Black British Experience in the United Kingdom today. More than 14 artists bring Black British narratives to life and document contemporary times.
Visitors will be treated to a variety of art including paintings, sculpture, photography and film exploring Female identity – Social Commentary – Ethereal and magical glass worlds – Personal Stories – The influence of the African and Caribbean diaspora on British Culture and much more, in bold and contemporary visual arts.
Featured artists include; Samantha Almon Adeluwoye, Kofi Arts, Lesley Asara, Flo Awolaja, Baserbillion, Karla Cornwall, D Greenish, Merissa Hylton, Sammie Ngwenya, Uju Obi, Sola Olulode, Drew Sinclair, Kaye-Anne Smith, Ashley Straker and Kourtney Stuart-Mason.
You are invited to meet the artists at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 9th March and Sunday 10th March.
