This Friday marks World Photo Day, a celebration of simply sharing the world as we see it. And what better day to honour some of the outstanding photography exhibitions we have hosted in our gallery spaces at Oxo Tower Wharf.
From 2010’s BT’s Essence of the Entrepreneur at gallery@oxo, featuring portraits shot by none other than Rankin, to 2004’s Beyond Band Aid, a retrospective exhibition of 1980s Ethiopia, attended by Midge Ure, our spaces are a popular choice for both talented photographers and photojournalists alike.
Below are just a few examples of some high calibre showcases we have received:
Everest 1953: 60th Anniversary Exhibition, gallery@oxo, 2013
BT’s Essence of the Entrepreneur 2010, gallery@oxo
Behind Basra; photojournalist Essam al-Sudani’s exhibition, Bargehouse, 2009
