Zealous X showcase 2013: Celebrating UK creative talent

Zealous X is a free, four-day exhibition celebrating a spectrum of creativity – art, film, music, photography and performance. This event will platform the work of 100 artists, across different fields, selected by an independent panel of judges including comedian Andi Osho, artist Richard Snowden and theatre producer Joyce Hytner.

The Zealous X programme also includes a series of insightful talks by industry experts on topics ranging from intellectual property to female leadership in creativity as well as talks by Zealous X artists reflecting on their creative journeys, challenges and inspirations:

Friday 29 November

15:00 – 16:00 Talk 02 – Distribution, IP and the ‘free’ economy
16:30 – 17:30 Talk 03 – The Art of Funding: Legend versus reality

Saturday 30 November

13:30 – 14:30 Talk 04 – The Artist’s (R)Evolution: A look at tomorrow’s best practice
15:00 – 16:00 Talk 05 – Collaboration: Partnerships in the creative business
16:30 – 17:30 Talk 06 – Artists, brand yourselves!

Sunday 1 December

13:30 – 14:30 Talk 07 – The Arts: An agent for social change
15:00 – 16:00 Talk 08 – Women in creativity: Developing female leadership
16:30 – 17:30 Talk 09 – Creative Journeys: Artists share their insights

To enter, simply register on www.zealous.co and submit your work to Zealous X. The deadline for submissions is 25 October, and successful applicants will be notified by 1 November
