Cocktail Masterclass

When Mother’s Day pops up on the calendar we all know what to do; a lovely meal, a bunch of roses or just a home-made cake, there are a million ways to show your mother how much you love her. But Father’s Day? That’s not always so easy. (Unless your father is a slipper wearing, golf loving kind of guy who gets excited by the thought of another set of cuff links)

This year, OXO is making it easy for you to buy the ultimate gift and show the love with a cocktail masterclass with Jack Daniel’s. The second in a Sunday series to celebrate OXO’s 20th birthday, this masterclass will focus on the finest whiskey ever to come out of Tennessee.

Join OXO on the 19 June to learn about how Jack Daniel’s is made, from choosing the finest rye and barley, through to the special barrels in which it’s aged, before having a go at crafting some cocktails for yourself.

By the end of this masterclass you’ll be mixing like a pro and have the knowledge to match. And that’s not bad for a Sunday morning, is it?

THE DETAILS

10 30 – 11am Arrive at OXO and enjoy fresh coffee and pastries.

11am – 12pm – The masterclass begins! Be talked through the art of whiskey making before being taught how to make two perfectly blended whiskey cocktails.

12pm – 12 30pm – Finish the class with a final cocktail expertly prepared by our OXO bartenders and the chance to chat with our Jack Daniel’s ambassador. And don’t forget to grab your goodie bag!

12 45 – 1pm – Lunch beckons and guests who’ve booked in for our masterclass can enjoy 10% off their total bill on a brunch or lunch menu in the OXO Brasserie or Restaurant, alongside a cocktail menu specially curated & designed for the day by Jack Daniel’s.
